The Open Space Authority is committed to being an open, transparent, and accountable government agency. The Authority encourages public participation in decision-making processes, regularly communicates information about what the Authority is working on, and provides access to public records.
Transparency promotes accountability and provides information for citizens about what the Authority is doing. This agency, Board and Staff, is committed to providing information rapidly in forms that can be readily accessed.
The Open Space Authority is committed to providing prompt and courteous access to public records pursuant to the California Public Records Act. The Authority provides opportunities for ecologically sensitive public enjoyment and education on open space preserve lands. If you would like to have an event or activity on Open Space Authority property, please email us your request. If you are not sure your activity requires a permit, read the FAQ Sheet.
